This project will give you an insight into how I take inspiration for a physically printed design in the end!
First Job: Bridal Shower
I held a discovery session with the bride to learn about her wedding. What I got was:
1. She likes sunflowers
2. Wedding colors are blue, red, and green
3. She came with the following picture as her inspiration:

From that inspiration image, I see:

So, given my limited time, I take advantage of my Adobe licenses to grab some stock assets and create:

Second Job: Wedding Program
The bride loved the shower invite's design so much that I was also brought on for the wedding program! Now, I had all the same information as before, plus they would have eucalyptus as part of their bridesmaid bouquets.
The reference I was provided the following samples:



Looking at these three together, I notice:



I had about 2 weeks to finish up this design, so I created all the assets myself and (of course) had to include the bride's favorite - sunflowers. Incorporating these commonalities in the reference images with the knowledge I had of the wedding I made this:
